Music is not the only thing Hong Kong celebrity Edison Chen and Asian superstar Jay Chou have in common.
The pair recently attended a media conference to promote their forthcoming fashion label collaboration. It was also announced during the conference that Jay will be helping Edison with a remix version of his latest single, I Can Fly.
Previously, it was reported that Edison, who's still getting death threats due to the sex photo scandal back in 2008, was escorted by gun-carrying security personnel when he was in Malaysia, and a large number of bodyguards when he was in Guangzhou, China.
"I've never requested for bodyguards when I attend an event. I am very grateful for their protection, but I personally prefer not to have bodyguards around. I don't like living in fear and anxiety daily," Edison emphasised.
The star, who is not superstitious, added, "If God wants me dead tomorrow, I can only accept it."
When reporters asked Jay if the short, thick hair he sported in his upcoming movie Reversal War was a "post-processed" product, the singer awkwardly replied that "it is a kind of the performance". He then added "sleep is also very important" out of the blue, leaving the media confused.
Jay also revealed that he will make guest appearances at singer Jolin Tsai's Shanghai and Beijing concerts, which will be held on May 21 and May 28 respectively.
"I've to keep my promise, I'll return the favour," said Jay. The singer had last performed with Jolin at his concert last year.
