The pair was performing together for the fourth time at Jolin’s concert
Is Taiwan's IT couple Jolin Tsai and Jay Chou getting back together or are they merely teasing their fans?
The pair shared the stage for the fourth time at Jolin's Myself World Tour on May 28.
At the concert, Jay and Jolin seemed more at ease with each other, compared to their previous performance.
At Jolin's Shanghai concert a week earlier, their performance of 'Nothing Left to Say' was criticised for being "stoic". At an interview after the concert, Jolin also commented that Jay "deserves a better girl" putting an end to a chance that the former lovers might reconcile.
However, their diehard fans did not give up. A site dedicated to both singers urged Jay to propose to Jolin on stage before the concert.
Did the superstars play to their fans' request?
Their song of choice for the night -- 'You Are Marrying Me Today'. Their 40,000 fans went crazy when Jay put his arm around Jolin's waist, and the latter placed her hands on his thigh.
Jay even rearranged his song 'Starry Mood' and Jolin's song 'Say You Love Me' into a medley. As they danced together, Jay twirled Jolin in circles, while the pop princess fell slowly into his arms, which created a romantic atmosphere on stage and rounded up a perfect ending for their fourth collaboration.
Fans screamed, "We've been waiting for this kiss for 10 years!" claiming that while the elevated stage was going down, Jay was seen kissing Jolin from the back.
Concert officials later denied the kiss, claiming that it just looked that way from an angle.
