[Photos] Bae Yong Joon & Hyun Joong @ Wine & Peope Book Launching 07.09.11

I read in Suehan's blog that Bae Yong Joon, Hyun Joong, Choi Kang Hee and other stars were at the book lauching of Wine & People by sommelier Lee Joon Hyuk which was held at Vin-ga in Apgujeong yesterday. - Liezel

For those who are curious about the book here's a copy of it as well as promo poster. It's well known in the industry that Bae Yong Joon is a wine lover. I've feeling that he might have influenced Hyun Joong to drink wine. (I remember reading that HJL prefers soju than wine)

The author of the book will reveal in this book his conversation with BYJ and Hyun Joong.

The Yonsama that I met *words in bold*

*Female Narration*
Participating in the 24 Hour Television last year
Also making an appearance in the drama 「Dream High」produced by Bae Yong Joon
Even Bae Yong Joon has expectations for this next generation Hallyu star, Kim Hyun Joong
What kind of person is the Yonsama that you have met?

Hello, this is Kim Hyun Joong *in Japanese*

Bae Yong Joon Sunbae gives everyone the impression that he is a very perfect, secretive person right?

But he is actually a very humanely and humorous person.

Saying interesting things that makes one slipped… *laughs*

Anyway he is very sincere
Taking care of me like I’m his younger brother

As what everyone has feel about
him as someone who do not reveal his mysterious, personal side,

When you meet him you will understand about him full of humaneness

And feel his friendliness

The most surprising is his radical self management part
And I also feel that he is an impressive person for his passion towards his work

My wish is…
Though fans probably would not want it but
to marry a wonderful woman. *laughs*

Japanese to English translation by Lafone / liezle.blogspot.com

Bae Yong Joon (Actor)

At the news of Japan’s big earthquake, I am very much concerned about people’s safety struck by the disaster.

I would like to fully agree with a meaningful proposal made by GACKT with whom, we had a a charity event “ Message to Asia “in December.

I assume that the people living in the disaster area are now suffering under the unimaginable situation. I hope that our heart will arrive at all of you and will be of some help for you.

I sincerely hope that all of you will be back to a life you can spend in peace as soon as possible.

SHOW YOUR HEART！！

Kim Hyun Joong (Singer)

At the news of the earthquake, I am struck by surprise and much concerned about the situation. While I am looking for what I can do, I came to know about GACKT ssi’s great proposal. I would like to express my full agreement with him

I believe that even a small force of one person, we can be big together and support the people under the disaster

SHOW YOUR HEART！！

A Funny Story

We know Kim Hyun-joong and Kim Jae-joong as popular idols from SS501 and DBSK or JYJ. And we know also that they’re very close friends. Last Christmas with Triple S friends Cris and Jae, out of craziness in the cold wind of the night in Montalban; we came upon this unique story while waiting for a ride home.

This story came to our minds because recently during that time Leader was busy with Project Smile together no less than Yonsama himself. We couldn’t help but admit that Leader has an uncanny resemblance to Bae Yong-joon. So were like, what if Leader is adopted and that his birth father is Yonsama. Well it kind of makes sense right since Leader looks so much like a young Yonsama.

And here’s the rest of the story. Yonsama when was in his mid 20’s was a popular guy then he fell for a simple girl from the province which is Jae-joong’s mom. They fell in love and eventually had a son which is Hero. However, they relationship didn’t last as Yonsama had to go back to Seoul and the girl couldn’t decide to go with or not. Yonsama left without knowing he had a son.

After 6 years, Yonsama again met another woman which is Leader’s mom. During this time, Leader’s mom is actually already married but they didn’t have a child yet. It was love at first sight; although it was an illicit affair they truly loved each other. However, they still fell apart because the girl couldn’t leave her husband. She loves both men too much so it was Yonsama who decided to leave. Yonsama again left not knowing he had a son which is Leader.

After two failed relationships with both women he really loved, Yonsama decided to finally call it quits on having relationships. So this is the reason why Leader looks so much a like a young Yonsama. And as to why Jae-joong and Leader are almost like brothers.

This is a story made out of fun. Don’t take this seriously. We just tried to change Leader, Jae-joong and even Yonsama’s life story with this funny story we came up with. J

The Yonsamas are ready to help!

On March 14th, KEYEAST announced to the public that Bae Yong-joon and Kim Hyun-joong donated money to Japan’s relief efforts. Yong-joon gave $890,000, while Hyun-joong graciously donated $71,000.

Yonsama urged the government to use his money to fund the basic necessities (including food and water). He is very concerned about the people. Hyun-joong admitted that his money wasn’t much, but he hopes his effort can aid the people in some way. The initial shock and heartbreaking news of the current situation after the earthquake and tsunami made the singer quickly run to their aid.

The damage and nuclear explosions that have taken place aches your heart. I truly commend these two celebrities for their willingness to give. In addition, the phrase Pray for Japan is truly needed.

Bae Yong Joon’s documentary is a service for the Hallyu fans.

On January 5th, Bae Yong Joon’s documentary, which became a hot topic, was presented for the first time at the press conference of MBC LIFE’s “Bae Yong Joon’s travel documentary – A Journey in Search of Korea’s Beauty”. This documentary was produced with a total of 8 episodes and is based on the travel book Bae Yong Joon wrote which has the same title. They say that it follows the Bae Yong Joon’s traces.

Someone associated with Keyeast said, “After Bae Yong Joon’s travel book was released, we’ve gotten numerous requests from overseas fans desiring detailed explanation. In the past, Hallyu fans’ journey in Korea was limited to some famous tourists spots. We made this documentary as a service to the fans.”

In this documentary, they kindly worked on the images for the tourists with the Korean culture. He said that they planned to expand if they get good responses. The other associate said, “It will be beautiful if someone like Kim Hyun Joong also introduces Korea. We would like to produce it if the opportunity is given.”

This documentary will be a supplementary material for the travel book that Bae Yong Joon released in 2009. Those of which weren’t included in the book were added and it became a documentary which will help fans and tourists follow Bae Yong Joon’s steps. This is a big expansion of service area for Hallyu and his fans.

The time is past for just watching the Hallyu. Hallyu fans show their interests in Korea. It seems that a book or production of a documentary will satisfy their demands and become another Hallyu method in the future. This might be the reason that Hallyu star’s documentary series can be continued.

“A Journey in Search of Korean’s Beauty” is programmed as a Life special which is MBC LIFE’s new year special program. For 8 weeks starting on January 8th, they will deliver memoirs that Bae Yong Joon experienced while traveling from coast to coast in Korea, from Gangwon, Gyeongsang, Choongcheong, Jeolla, Gyeonggi, to Seoul. The viewers will vividly see them every Saturday at 11:00 pm.

Dream High BYJ & KHJ Screencaps

I actually thought the moment I found out about Hyun-joong's cameo in this drama that he looks like he's playing himself and I was right. As I read from Liezel, he was asked by the media in one of the scenes about his future plans. I already saw the cameo of Leader last night but of course with no subs. He replied that he will be releasing an album by May this year and this reply has been receiving attention from fans since he's been mentioning this in almost every interview.

Kim Hyun-joong said, 'Bae Yong-joon on stage is not brother but Yonsama'

Lifted from HanCinema

“Bae Yong-joon I saw in Tokyo Dome was not brother... more like 'Yonsama'. Little 'Yonsama' Kim Hyun-joong revealed his impression toward Bae Yong-joon during the interview with DATV, after the 'Message to Asia'.

Kim Hyun-joong said, 'I get along with Yong-joon brother well like friends but he looked different somehow on big stage. When I saw 30,000 audiences going crazy as Bae Yong-joon entered the ending stage, he seemed like 'Yoonsama' more than ever. I felt little awkward since it was different than usual.”

Following this, Kim Hyun-joong said that he feels ok with his new nickname little Yonsama, or little Bae Yong-joon, and said that I like the way people call me since it contains an iconic meaning, but I also want people to know that I have difference like singing and dancing.

On the other hand, for the first event of 'Miso Project', 'Message to Asia', not only Bae Yong-joon, Kim Hyun-joong, and Hwan-hee appeared, but also Japanese singer GACKT, Taiwanese actor VANESS, Joseph Chen, SHU-I, and Korean new group 'Daegook Namah' appeared.
