The movie "The Viral Factor" starring Nicholas Tse and Jay Chou held a press conference in Beijing, they announced the movie would come out during the Spring Festival in 2012. Nicholas Tse, who has just been through the marriage turmoil, said that Jay Chou once praised him for having a high EQ, someone who can adjust their mood to continue filming." Jay Chou on the other hand hopes everyone can give Nicholas Tse some peace so he can concentrate on acting. As usual Nicholas Tse didn't accept interviews from the media.

In the movie Nicholas Tse and Jay Chou play the brothers Wan Yang and Wan Fei, in the movie Nicholas Tse plays a thief, Jay Chou gets to handle many heavy artillery.

When asked the differences between taking part in "The Viral Factor" and being in "The Green Hornet" in Hollywood, Jay Chou thinks that, "It's like a holiday in Hollywood, but they require the cast to give all their time to the movie. We've been filming "The Viral Factor" all this time, we've made good use of the tight time, so we don't lose any of the emotions. But the cast has many other commitments, if we filmed for longer it would be better."

During the filming of "The Viral Factor", the "Nic and Cecilia relationship" started to crack, but as usual Nicholas Tse handed in his homework, he says: "Jay Chou said I had a high EQ, that I can adjust my mood and continue to film." Jay Chou on the other hand hopes everyone can give Nicholas Tse some peace and let him concentrate on acting.

Some of the media asked Jay Chou, has his own views on marriage been influenced by Nicholas Tse's marriage situation. Jay Chou stated that his own parents divorced early, but his mother has requested that, "You must be serious towards marriage, only get married not divorced."

In the movie Nicholas Tse didn't use a stunt double for a lot of the dangerous action scenes, he completed them all himself. Nicholas Tse remembers one scene where he jumped from 7 to 8 stories high into a trunk of a car and then rolls off and continues running. This scene was done in "one take", and they didn't use a double. Nicholas Tse says, "When I went into the crew, my life went in too." But Jay Chou said, "I didn't think like he did 'playing with life', I've still got a lot of fans."

Comparatively speaking, Jay Chou isn't weaker, in one scene he jumps into the Dead Sea with Nicholas Tse, because of the high concentration of salt, it was very painful for them. Nicholas Tse said, "That was the first time Jay Chou and I met, even though our butts were aching all day, but we felt to embarrassed to tell each other." The presenter summarized, "Did the two of you start singing "Chrysanthemum Flower Bed" in your minds?"

Bai Bing plays an international cop, this is her first time doing action scenes and her first time coming into contact with guns and bullets. Bai Bing revealed, Jay Chou likes to do magic during filming, at this point Lin Peng, who plays an international health worker, added: "How come Nicholas Tse didn't do magic for me?"

But Lin Peng also stated that Jay Chou often bought good stuff for her to eat. And Nicholas Tse is her idol, there's feeling in doing love scenes with your idol, she got right into it straight away.
