KIM HYUN JOONG’s FAN MEETING
The fan meeting (FM) to commemorate Kim Hyun Joong’s first Premium DVD & Photo Book,
The First Love Story’ was held at the JCB hall yesterday.
The FM opened with Thank You.
The moment Kim Hyun Joong appeared in his black suit,
the entire JCB venue was enveloped in applause and cheers.
Not only just from the various parts of Japan,
there were even fans from Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore
and other parts of the world, who were present at the event.
So truly, Kim Hyun Joong is really popular.
But, really laughed very heartily,
(*bb: not sure if referring to blogger, or fans, or KHJ)
Hyun Joong’s chatting session.
His unique 4D charisma is really quite something
Even if just wanting to say something in a forthright and most direct possible manner,
that, too, had the ability to trigger continuous laughter at the event.
The DVD was shot in Bali,
so the question was about the unusual tales or interesting incidents in Bali,
but it was hard to keep the topic on Bali,
we ‘ran’ off-focus all the way to South Pole…
But, to be able to say whatever he’s thinking inside unreservedly is commendable.
Lately, the filming work for Playful Kiss seems to be very tough.
He’s only able to sleep two hours in all of three days, and such.
Even with such punishing schedule,
he was still showing his bright smiles!
Before the start of the event proper,
Hyun Joong went to look at the flowers and gifts that the fans had sent;
he had looked at each one very carefully,
and even touched the balloon/s and gave a small smile.
He accepted all the warm wishes sent by everyone,
and walked towards the stage.

MC : Hyng Joong ssi, six hours passed since your arrival in Japan. Did you see many fans at Haneda airport ?
Leader : I am not sure. There seemed to be many fans awaiting Song Seung Heon ssi who was expected to arrive after my flight.
MC : What did you eat for lunch?
Leader : A beef & rice bowl because my manager bought for me.
MC : Could tell me your favorite Japanese words?
Leader : “quite quite “, “ most “ I recognized that these words are frequently used by commentators of soccer.

MC : What was your impression of Bali Island ?
MC : I agree with you. I had the same impression when I traveled.
Bye the way, I also asked how you felt about yourself who seemed to belong to this island.
Leader : You are asking about the harmony between Bali and myself, but actually I don’t know how to answer. I prefer to go to the South Pole rather than Bali island. I have been preparing for the trip to the South Pole, but the shooting place has been changed to Bali (4D talk, of course)
Leader : I heard that whales with horn only live in the sea of the South Pole. I would like to see them. After the drama shooting, I would like to travel alone, dropping by there.
MC : Do you frequently cook ?
Leader : Not frequently., but I can cook so so. If you do cooking by yourself, you can enjoy nice food with nutritional value, but it will cost you instead.
MC : How about the food you cooked in Bali (in DVD)
Leader : After one bite, staff spit it out. I put too much seasoning. Though my specialty is Kimchi fried rice, but they did not want me to cook it. Maybe it does not look expensive.

MC : Did you like your clothes ?
Leader : I liked the overall styling and clothes, I could not take them home which I felt a bit pity.
MC : What kind of styling you prefer ?
Leader : I just talked about fashion with my coordinator noona a few days ago. She said that my favorite styling was “ dark horse “ ? I have to confirm with her later ( * actually, his style was “ Goth style” , a bit punk fashion, )
Asked about the heart-shaped diamond ring used at the shooting,
Leader : This ring is vey important for me. It was a ring late-Andre Kim ssi sponsored for artists on the occasion of his last fashion show ( I don’t understand what Leader meant ) * it seemed to be a fake diamond as the heart-shape cut diamond is most expensive ( it is said that 50% of original diamond is lost for heart-shape cutting)

MC : A few hundred fans participated in this shooting,. What do you remember most ?
Leader : It was so hot. I heard that it was very hot in Japan before I went there. Though a tens of people died in Korea due to heat, there were hundreds of death in Japan. Therefore, I was a bit scared about going to Japan. ( audience were burst in a laugh)
MC : A little extra girl was about to cry.
Leader : Yes, she was also sweaty and did not smile at all.
MC : When you talked to that little girl, she smiled and tightly hold your fingers, eventhough you said to her “it’s OK, we finished !”
Leader : Yes, though it’s a bit embarrassing that she did not leave her fringers, I was very happy because she was the youngest among my fans.
MC : She was the youngest ! She has never seen a nice-looking guy like you, that’s why she was so nervous.
Leader : In a few years, she will find a boyfriend.
MC : I think you look great in the sea. Did you swim in Bali ?
Leader : I rarely swim in the sea. I am confident in a river or a brook
I have phobia of shark; If I enter in the sea, I hear my hurt pounding. I am confident in swimming in a pool.
MC : What swimming style you are good at ?
Leader : Any style except for butterfly.
MC : Could you tell us about your aspiration, or challenges you would like ?
Leader : Recently I have many opportunities to go abroad where I feel that I am a tiny creature on the earth. I would like to travel a lot in foreign countries, visiting “seven wonders in the world”, the south pole, etc. I would like freely travel alone, with a backpack. I have also a plan a space travel and already checked the price which costs 200,000,000 won. If I travel in the universe, I will upload the pictures in the internet. Q1 What kind of surprise do you like to give to your most important people?
A: I remember well the birthdays of people. I usually send an e-mail to them.

A: Well, people usually go to bed around that time ( 00 am), I give my gift in the next morning.

Q3 What is your “ boom “ recently?
A: Many things, sport in general. I would like to learn tennis, golf and would like to play soccer more while I have to practice dancing, singing, and so on.
The problem is I don’t have much time to do everything.
Q4 What do you like to do if you have a change to transform in an invisible man?
A: I have never thought of it. I would rather prefer “ a teleportration”
Q５ You do not easily wake up in the morning. In your childhood, did your mother always have to wake you up ?
Leader : Actually, she has never wakes me up. I wake up by myself if I have something I really want to do. Even with bloodshot eyes, I will wake up and drive by myself.
Q6 How much do you like to sleep now ?
Leader : Frankly speaking, I would like to throw everything and sleep for a week. However, I’m still doing drama shooting, I have to keep my condition.

1st lady I am in the 30’s. How do you feel ?
Leader : What do you mean ?
1st lady As a girlfried, I mean.
Leader Possible. I am in the 20’s, 25 years old. I can accept till 35 years old.

MC How about her fashion with red-color accent ?
Leader Very beautiful. I like her natural curl hair style, clothes as well.

2nd lady Do you have any plan about CD release, music activity ?
Leader After the current drama shooting, I will be back to music.
I would like to upgrade myself in music and would like to have an opportunity to show myself maybe in the next year. You can expect. I will sing a song in Japanese as well.
MC (to the 3rd lady) Your eyes are sparkling.
Leader : Yes, like the lady watching jewelry

MC : Wow, this time four candles ! May I look for another two ?
Leader : No, you don’t have to. Let's try to find meaning of four candles.

In the meantime, the flame of the fourth candle ( he mentioned “fans”) was gone to the wind of air-conditioning of the hall.
Leader cried “ Oh, you guests are dead !” (the audience are burst in laugh)
The light was put on again, and Leader safely blew the candle.
MC : How about tasting the cake ?
Leader carefully picked up the strawberry, putting aside fresh crème.
Leader : It tastes strawberry ( in Japanese, again 4D talk ^^) it’s because strawberry ( in Japanese) (How should we react ???? )
MC : What kind of actor or singer do you aim ?
Leader : An actor and singer who can move people on a stage.

MC : Hyung Joong ssi is very unique, a person I can hardly anticipate.
He talked today very frankly.

I was too lucky to get a daytime ticket from a blog reader which was the third row, in the center zone ! I could see Leader’s expression, any detail without glasses. At the beginning, I completely forgot to take note, in admiration of his black brilliant eyes and cute smile. Sorry!
Styling : Tight black suit as you saw. The fringe of his black shirt seemed to be spangles, as well as his tie. He also put white bracelet and ring on the right hand with fake-pave diamond which was shining under the light. He loves something with sparkles.
Song : He appeared on the stage, sining “Thank you “
Preview of Shooting in Bali & Talk Time
Leader : (in reply to MC’s question) I can see all of you very well. I am good at keeping a memory of people, I see some I already knew and some which I see for the first time.
In the meantime, he said that he could not remember how many days he spent in Bali as the schedule was so tight and busy.
While the digest DVD being on the screen, he gestured to the audience to watch the screen, not his face. [liezle : cute]
MC : How do you feel about yourself in Bali ? You don’t think that you are terrific?
Leader : If shooting takes place now, I will be much better, but undereye cirles may not be covered.
MC : No. We cannot see any undereye circles. (actually, it was evident)
Are you in a good shape ?
Leader: Yes, the best condition.
Clothes, guitar, ring and so were on the stage.
Leader: I don’t remember as I was too busy without understanding what I was doing. I would like to catch up with my memory.
MC : I could not imagine what Hyun Joong ssi was going to say ; it was for the first time I met such a person.
Leader : Because of the discrepancy in delivery service, the clothes were wrinkled. Usually, stylists ironed to smooth these wrinkles. (in a laugh)

MC : Do you remember something about the shooting with fans?
Leader : I doubt whether you guys gave such a big applause if it was the real wedding ceremony of myself ( an explosion of his 4D talk )
MC : All of the fans were patient enough to refrain from calling “ Leader !”, nor “ Hyun Joong !” It was the first time for you to work together like this way.
Leader : Yes, it was the first time. I was satisfied with a feeling of achievement together. I would like to try something much interesting, the next time such as sports festival.
MC : A sport festival ? What would you like to try ?
Leader : Well, there are some who are rather aged, and some who are young, a wide variety in age bracket. I suggest a quiz,” Yes or No “. I would like to give a kiss on the back of the fan who won a quiz. Therefore, there will be too many difficult questions (again, burst in a laught due to his 4D comments )

He was driving a Mercedez-Bentz sport car. He took a heart-shape cut diamond from a ring box, telling “ I will sell this ring, I prefer to give to my girlfriend my love, not a gift “
MC: You remember something ?
Leader : Yes, a little though there’s nothing to do with shooting. The hotel we used for shooting, was so expensive (8 mil yen ? maybe for a rental of full rooms I suppose) Mr. & Mrs Angelina Jolie stayed there. I was thiking at that time that I may recognize their body scent.
MC : Thank for talking freely about what you thought. By the way, what is your future plan,?
Leader : I would like to do my best for Playfull Kiss till the end. And …..
I do not want to spend a lonely Christmas this year.; it will be fine for me to spend with guys if it is not lonesome. Then, I will prepare for a solo album.
Oh, I have to add this. On Oct. 21, I will spend with you to see the last episode of Playful Kiss for that I am working hard as well. I would like to see as many as possible on that day.
Questions from fans
Q1 Among the conditions you may ask for your partner, are there something you feel prerequisite ?
a) capable to catch a dragonfly on your behalf ?
b) cook a beef on rice bowl of SUKIYA (Leader’s favorite Japanese food) ?
Leader : Actually, as I am still young, I have never gave a serious consideration about marriage. Before I thought that I would marry till 30 years old. However, I worry that I may live alone for a lifetime and die lonely. (again, 4D comment )
MC : Oh, please just leave it to the fate !
Q2 You were listing MP3 at airports. What kind of music do you listen to ?
Leader : A very good question ! (in Japanese ) I have been listeing to the candidates for my solo numbers which I would like to release the next year. As I received many offers, I now listen to and select.
Q3 What do you do first when you are back to home ?
Leader : Sleep ! I recently came to know that one can adapt to this lifestyle as well, go home, take a shower, make-up and immediately go for shooting. Sometimes, I can only take two-hours sleep among 3 days. Like this way, I have to upgrae myself .
Q4 What you would like your girlfriend to do ?
Leader: Well, …. Let’s consider what I want my partner. Even I go back to home very late at night together with my friends after drink, I hope that my wife would make beds for them, cook something to eat as well. I hope that my partner will be tolerant enough to do so.
MC I will ask the audience. Could you please raise your hands if you can treat Hyun Joong ssi and his friends in such a way ? (the majority of the audience raised hands, I assume )
Leader : Liar ! ( in Japanese ) Well, this may happen once in a month. I will be nice to my partner during the remaining 29 days.

Leader tried to call fan’s first name such as Yoko to make them happy.
1st lady : Are you planning of SS501 activities ? (Wow, a straight question !)
Leader : Nothing has not yet been confirmed, but I would like to do.
2nd lady: What do you think while dancing ?
Leader : People frequently raise this question. I don’t know why.
The answer is absolutely “ what am I expected to do, i.e., choreography (audience were again burst in a laught as the answer was so direct !)
3rd lady : Who is your most favorite soccer play in Japan ?
Leader : Honda ! Do you have any connection to introduce myself to him ?
3rd lady : I’m afraid not
Leader : Oh, then I will try to look for by myself.

For six candles, Leader wanted to find out some reasons, but could not find out appropriate ones. This BD cake seemed to be too sudden for nothing.

Leader mentioned “ a boat “ and “ fuel “ without second thought. How about the third one ? He said “nothing, because with a boatl and fuel, I can go back to the main land “ (very smart (@_@`) )

Leader : Next time, I would like to introduce the places I frequently visit in Korea as there are many beautiful places worth for visit. Next year, I will be back to you with my album.
Asked by MC whether he was prepared for a high touch, Leader answered that he already experienced “shaking hands” session with 8000 fans in Japan when SS501 released an albumn.. which took 8 hours !
It should have been “High Touch “ session, but Leader seemed to be determined to change to “shake hands” session by himself. He did not raise his arm but extended to his hands to the first fan, and continued to do so. Nobody could not stop him as there was a big applause from the audience for his initiative. He was so polite to add his left hand to his right arm, keeping an eye contact with each fan, smiling and saying “ Thank you “ in Japanese, one by one. He spent one and a half for this session on the stage which sacrificed his break time before the evening session. In his black eyes, there seemed to be stars! His hands were very soft and warm which I cannot forget… I really hope that he could take a enough rest after the drama, sleeping for three days at the minimu... by lafone
