The Chinese megastars performed and took home big accolades at the first Taiwan Global Chinese Golden Chart Awards in Taipei.

Some of the biggest names in Chinese pop music were honoured at the first-ever Global Chinese Golden Chart Awards held in Taipei on Saturday (April 9th).
The awards are hosted by 11 Mandarin-speaking radio stations from around the world - namely Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, China, Canada, the US, Australia and New Zealand - and based on the top-selling popular songs.
So who topped the popularity chart?
Not surprisingly, Jay Chou won Best Mandarin Album, Best Outstanding Artist, Most Popular Male Singer while his former flame Jolin Tsai was voted best Popular Female Singer.
Malaysia-born Fish Leong was named Best Female Vocalist while Wang Leehom won Best Male Vocalist.
Super Junior-M were awarded Most Popular Group although they were unable to attend the ceremony, with their parent group Super Junior taking home Best Selling J-Pop/K-pop Album of the Year.

Yesterday, the 1st Global Chinese Music Award was held in Taipei, Taiwan. The show is jointly hosted by 11 Mandarin-speaking radio stations from Taiwan, China, Canada, the U.S., Singapore, Malaysia, Australia and New Zealand. Jay Chou was the biggest winner of the night with 6 awards:-
