Jay Chou held his first night of "Jay Chou The Era concert in Malaysia 2011" on Fridaym he stated that he hasn't held a concert in Malaysia for 3 years and promised fans that "he will come more often in the future", it turns out Director Chou was not just saying that for the sake of it, at the second night of the concert in Malaysia, he stated that he will be coming to Malaysia in either April or May to get shots for a new movie, he stays true to his word, he's spoilt the fans rotten!
At the concert on the day before yesterday Director Chou stated: "I keep to my word, in April or May I will be coming to Malaysia to get shots!" He asked fans to come visits to show support!
According to reports, this will be for the movie Dante Lam is directing, Director Chou and Nicholas Tse are starring in a modern action movie "Against War", EMP are putting full support behind the Hong Kong movie, besides investing HK$2 hundred million they will begin getting shots all around the world starting from the middle of March, including Vietnam, Thailand, Jordan and many more places; originally they planned to get shots from Australia but it was cancelled due to the flooding, now Director Chou revealed the movie added a new location which is Malaysia!
The plot of "Against War" revolves around Nicholas Tse and Jay Chou going around the world investigating, including Jordan, Xi'an, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore and more. Due to the fact some of the places they are going to are in a state of commotion, both of them have been insured for HK$1.5 hundred million, plus 20 bodyguards will be protecting them. They will be heading off soon to Jordan to film the main action scenes in Jordan for "Against War", they will ask to borrow aircrafts from the air force, tanks and artillery to help with the filming.
In order to recreate the scene of the Persian Gulf war, the director is working with the team behind the Hollywood blockbuster "The Hurt Locker", by then Director Chou will also have intense explosive scenes. In order to avoid a similar accident to what happened to Selina, Dante Lam has already stated they will be buying insurance for all the crew, there is no need to worry about this side of things.
The details of "Against War" has been kept very secretive, the plot involves an International case and finding of a relative, Director Chou and Nicholas Tse become heroes of the people, doing battle through different countries, the female lead has been confirmed as China actress Bai Bing, Bai Bing will be the target to rescue for the two!
Director Chou has held two nights this time in Malaysia, he gave the Malaysian fans a surprise, besides revealing that he will be coming to Malaysia to film, he also did an impromptu "Malaysian Beat Box version" of "Love in BC", on the first night he wouldn't sing "Sand Painting" even after the fans screamed their lungs out, on the second night, Cindy Yen "surveyed the requests from the audience" and changed the original track "Black Humour" to a duet with Director Chou for "Sand Painting", the fans were surprised!
Also, when Jay Chou was singing "Love in BC" his voice broke 3 times, fans were suspecting he deliberately created the effect, who could have thought that afterwards Director Chou himself admitted: "I need to clear my throat for a bit!" During the concert, he accidentally let the mic slip from his hands!
A lot of fans waited 24 hours at the Citrus Hotel Director Chou was staying at, hoping to catch a glimpse of him. According to reports, when Director Chou stepped out of the hotel in the afternoon on Saturday, the fans all rushed him, yet they were blocked off by security, due to the fact on the first night Director Chou asked security not to block fans off, but yet at the hotel the security blocked fans, the fans immediately yelled at Director Chou: "Didn't you say don't block off the fans?" As he heard this, Director Chou could only lower his head and smirk!
Two nights ago Jay held his concert in Malaysian who could have thought that Taiwanese presenter and good friend Jacky Wu would reveal how he used to be a poor boy!
A few days ago when Jacky Wu was promoting the new show he is hosting with Patty Hou "Guess Guess Guess", he mentioned that back then when he was presenting "Guess", he invited "Double J", Director Chou and Jolin Tsai onto the show, he requested the two exchange numbers, Jay announced he didn't have a phone, Jacky Wu laughed saying: "Back then he was a poor boy, how could he have a phone?"
