I would really want to watch the My Princess musical next year. Would be nice really to see the famed Mr. P and Princess Seol sing and dance on stage. If I can't watch, I'm hoping they'd release a DVD of the musical. Seriously love to see it and the new actors to portray my Mr. P and his Princess Seol.
[TALK OF THE TOWN] 'My Princess' to be a musical
The popular MBC drama, "My Princess", will soon become a musical directed by Lee Ji-na and with music from songwriter Kim Hyung-suk. Lee has been the force behind popular Korean productions of "Hedwig and the Angry Inch", "Grease", "Dae Jang Geum" and "The Phantom of the Opera".
Curtain Call, the musical's production company, said through a press release on Monday that they are currently in the process of fleshing out the script and will start casting in June, with performances to begin in March 2012.
"My Princess", is a romantic comedy about a high-spirited college student who becomes the princess of a Korean kingdom. The series features stars like Song Seung-heon and Kim Tae-hee.
