The pair shared the stage for the third time and chose a sad ballad for a duet

Jay Chou appeared in front of twenty five thousand screaming fans during the encore session of Jolin Tsai's "MySelf World Tour" in Shanghai last night.

Instead of a much anticipated dance number, Jolin sang a sad ballad, titled "Nothing Left To Say", in front of a revolving letter 'J' with Jay playing the piano behind the prop. As the letter 'J' prop revolved to show Jay, Jolin removed her long gown to reveal a pair of sexy legs, and slowly climbed onto the piano to flirt with Jay.

Hand in hand, the pair then walked down the stageand even had their faces pressed against each other for a moment, making it "the most intimatemoment" for the pair on stage. However, the couple seemed stiff in their performance and their collaboration this time was visibly "less steamy" when compared to their duet at Jay's "The Era World Tour" concert last year. Clearly, Jolin's current love affair with model Vivan Dawson could be a reason for the unexciting duet.

Speculation has it that the song sang by the "Double J" couple was a sign of them putting an end to their 10-year relationship. However, Jolin clarified saying, "We didn't want to pick his song as it won't be much surprise," while Jay commented that "it is just a performance; the media don't have to be too sensitive on the song we picked."

Admittedly, Jolin said she's feeling the pressure to perform with Jay due to high expectations from both the media and public. As the confirmation of Jay's attendance only came two weeks prior to her concert, the pair mainly communicated via phone calls to discuss the details of their duet, and only met for rehearsals two nights ago.

The pop princess also spoke coolly about her former beau, "I know him well, but I can't just follow everything he says. I feel our relationship now is like the friendship I have with Show Luo, whom I don't see very often but would never run out of topics to share."

When asked if they would get back together, Jolin replied, "He deserves better."

On why Jolin's current squeeze Vivian Dawson was not at her concert last night, his manager said that Vivan is currently in Singapore, and that "he is not allowed to go because of disapproval from the company."
