I woke up early because I have a big day ahead of me. It was Sunday and I was originally supposed to wake up earlier than what I did. I wasn’t even able to attend mass. I was heading to Market Market to meet Jae and Cris then directly to the airport because Jae’s pigeon and my second hubby Kibum with the rest of U-Kiss will be arriving.
The night before we were talking about their arrival. We got some information but we couldn’t tell one was true. Some were saying they’ll be arriving 1:00AM June 12 Saturday, then some 11:00PM June 12 also Saturday. Then someone else also said 11:00AM June 13. But I think June 13 11:00AM was the real one. Another problem was which terminal. Some said terminal 1 and terminal 2.
So we were excited as we head to the airport to see my Bummie and U-Kiss again. We went to Terminal 3, but then we realized they couldn’t possibly land here since Terminal 3 is for Cebu Pacific only. So we went to Terminal 1 and waited because we thought that they would land on Terminal 1. It was already 11:00AM when we saw a van with U-Kiss posters, so we thought they might be here already. We waited till 12:00NN and there was no Bummie, no U-Kiss. Therefore, we were at the wrong terminal damn it! We found out later they were at Terminal 1 instead.
We left the airport downhearted. We went to Edsa Shang to meet Ate Rips, Reeze and She. We knew that the U-Kiss Meet and Greet would be on Edsa Shang later that day. Although we didn’t win in the raffle for the Meet and Greet, we were there to see the boys.

I feel bad for the boys by the way. After a long flight, this stupid promoter whatever made them do so many schedules for their low-class programs. We waited at the hotel until it’s time for the Meet and Greet. Only She and Reeze were the ones inside the ballroom. All of us are at the hallway waiting. Then this rude staff was asking us to leave because it’s prohibited to loiter there. But the real reason was because the boys will be coming down from the stairs straight to the door of the ballroom. I hated how people of the same nationality are so rude to their kind. Even that lady guard, she was rude. We had no choice but to leave there. We continued to wait at the hallway. When a girl passed us by running screaming Kiseop is so handsome. We were like where did she come from, that means she’s seen them.
Then in the next few minutes, I was like OH MY GOD! Suddenly, these tall young men clad in all white started to walk towards us. Inside my heart, I was like OH MY GOD IT’S THEM! Well it’s not like this is the first time I’ve seen them. I’ve seen them real close too back in March when I even got a handshake, a smile and an autograph just meant for me from Kibummie. However, that hotel encounter was also so close and special. I’ve seen how tall they are cause they’re heading towards our direction. We just stood where we are. I was frozen, I couldn’t scream. I was just too happy. Kevin was the one I saw first, he was in front. Then he stopped for a moment, I said hi to him. Then he turned, he waved and smiled at me. I was like OH MY GOD! Although Kevin isn’t my No. 1 bias but I love him.

And they went ahead inside for the Meet and Greet. Then after like 10 or 15 minutes, they came out. I thought, was it over it was so quick. Then of course, I was taking a fancam when they came out. As they turned in a corner, I found myself running to the next floor just to catch them. The elevator opened and voila, there they are. They were probably tired. We the ones outside were much luckier than those people inside who had to pay 1K for that.
After all the waiting and running, we went to nearby Starbucks to have some coffee and chat. That was how this day ended. I was a bit down when I didn’t see them at the airport. But this is what God had prepared, something much better. I was very high in spirits although I was tired. I’ll never forget that special close encounter with my lovely boys U-Kiss.
Day 2
2010 June 14, Monday
U-Kiss Holiday
I was supposed to wake up early because U-KissMePH said they’ll be giving out freebies to those that’s early. I’m supposed to meet Cris and Jae at 10:00AM at Coffee Bean in Araneta but turned out I woke up at 11:00AM. I got there at 1:00PM and there’s a bunch of them at the coffee shop already.
Most of us haven’t even eaten their lunch. So we headed out to Gateway’s to eat. After awhile, me and Jae went down to the comfort room and went back to Coffee Bean if the girl selling stuffs was still there. But she wasn’t there anymore.
As we head back to food court, I went near to a poster of U-Kiss. I was acting like I was just looking at it closely, but I was actually trying to take it off. Jae was afraid that we‘d get caught by the guard. I was so persistent cos I really want that poster badly. I was able to take it off and we rushed down to the parking lot. Jae then wanted me to get one for her. So we looked for another poster. We managed to spot one but this time it’s a little harder for my thin fingers to get the poster out. I had my own special ways and managed to take it off again.

Stealing those posters made me really happy. I wanted it so bad because that’s a concert poster. Jae and I were laughing like crazy fools.
The concert started at 8:00PM. It wasn’t full but who cares. I wasn’t expecting it to be full too since that was their first. No artist ever filled the venue of their first concert. Of course, everyone has to start with that. It was quite a feat with U-Kiss to have like 4k or 5k of audience in their very 1st concert. It would have been better if they held it in a smaller venue because I wanted those at GA to enjoy the concert too. Or if the stupid organizer allowed fans at the GA to go down and compressed the audience. Well anyway, this doesn’t matter anymore. What matters is I had a great time at the concert. And I’m so proud of my boys for giving us one great show. Of course, the fans didn’t disappoint. The screams and shouts felt like the whole big dome is full. So I’m sure they weren’t disappointed about us as well.
I was really happy for sharing that experience with U-Kiss. Being part of their first ever concert. Being in that same place to write that history in their careers.

I spent the previous night at Ate Rip’s place with Cris, Kate and Gab. I went home in the morning feeling sleepy. I actually planned to take a nap when I get home. But it didn’t happen. I was thinking about when U-Kiss leave for Korea will. I was hoping that they’ll leave by Wednesday so I can still see them off at the airport.
I was talking with Jae on tumblr to see if she knows their departure. We we’re keeping track of Rocketboxx tweet’s and she said they’ll be leaving at 3:30PM that day. I rushed to the airport with the hope that I’ll see them before they leave. I didn’t even know which terminal but I choose terminal 2.
I asked the security man there if there’s only one entrance at that terminal. And he immediately knew I was there for U-Kiss. He told me that it wasn’t at 3:30PM but 12:00AM. God, I rushed to the airport without even eating lunch and yet I didn’t get any. Well at least I found out that it was actually at 12:00AM.
I went home because I can’t wait at the airport that long. What was I supposed to do while waiting for 8 ½ hours! I was a bit sleepy so I bought a coffee and prepared my dinner after Boys Over Flowers. I was all ready to head to the airport at night just for my Kibummie and U-Kiss.
When I checked Rocketboxx on twitter, she tweeted that they’re still here and are currently checking out of the hotel. My God, then I was right. I left at 9:30PM and arrived there around 10:00PM. I didn’t see any fans when I got there. I just seated and waited till it gets like 11:00PM because I’m sure they’ll arrive earlier.
I stood up when it was 11:00PM and then I noticed these three girls. I immediately thought they’re fans and I was right. We positioned ourselves near the main entrance. And there was this group of another people on the other side. That was the time, a coaster arrived.

We didn’t know at first if it was them. We went close to the coaster and saw Soohyun. I was looking for Kibum then I saw Kevin. Kibum was actually beside Soohyun that’s why I couldn’t see him. They stayed there and then I saw Kibum taking pictures. He opened the window and placed his arms on it while standing. He was wearing a black beaters and that “B” cap he always wear. I presume that cap means Bum as the other half of H and B. I was so ecstatic to see him again, well it’s not like I didn’t see him the day before at the concert. He’s just so handsome especially when he wears a beater. Simply sexy without trying so hard. He stayed like that flexing his sexy arms. Then they came out of the coaster, Kibummie walked in front of me just a step away. I so wanted to get close but there were guards. They transferred to the other car and I even saw Kibum’s LV luggage.

They came out of the car around 11:00PM. I brought with me some stuff to give them. I wanted to give it to Kibum but he was on the other side. I couldn’t run to the other side to give it to him cos they’re walking. Instead I gave to Xander cos he’s the one that’s near me. Luckily he took it. I gave them some food, oranges since I remember Kibum likes oranges and the piaya that Kate gave to me. And also the banner that I personalize for Kibum. And besides, I’m really shy to Kibum whenever I see him especially that close. Although I really wanted to at least talk to him, say hi or hello maybe.
It wasn’t a waste of effort and time since I got to see them before they left. And my gift was accepted nothing could be better than that although not by Kibum but at least. I was able to sleep a good sleep thinking that they were able to leave safe and with all smiles.
Day 4
10. 06.16 Wednesday

This day was my rest day. U-Kiss just left the previous night and I was so happy to see them off before leaving for Korea. Meanwhile, I was still undecided as to whether I’ll be watching the charity concert where Leader will be in. I didn’t want to spend so much money for something that’s not even worth it. It’s because Leader wouldn’t even be there for long and he’ll only sing like three songs. It’s neither his concert nor SS501’s concert, it’s a charity concert. Besides, I have had the privilege of seeing him and the rest of SS501 in concert during their Persona Asia Tour not once but even twice.

The Persona Concert was the more worthy one to spend money with. I was so satisfied and happy seeing the five of them perform in my very eyes. But then on this day, I saw on FB that TSPH have organized a meet and greet for Leader. I initially thought that there’s no way I could even join that anymore since I didn’t buy my ticket from them. But they said that they’re still accepting buyers to join the meet and greet. I had no choice but to do so. I had to grab that chance because I haven’t experience such close and intimate event with Leader or SS501.
Day 5
10.06.17 Thursday
Kate, Gab, Ate Rips and I had planned to check in today at Crowne Plaza Hotel where Leader will be staying. Gab and Kate was there early and she texted me that they saw Leader when he arrived at the hotel. I was like ecstatic; I wanted to hit something if only I went there early too. I should have seen that as well.
I arrived there around 2:00PM and I was looking for them the instant I arrived. It was traffic too damn hated Manila so it took me a bit long. They were the first ones to see Leader. We roamed around the hotel hoping to bump into Leader anytime. We checked the pool but the door’s closed. We went next to the gym asking something if someone went there at the same time pretending that we’re interested to avail the service of the gym. We were about to take the elevator when all of a sudden a group of tall fair skinned men walked past us. There were only the three of us there and we stood frozen just staring. Since it was my first time seeing Leader that close, I didn’t recognize him instantly. Then it hit me the next second that oh my God, it was Leader walking past in front of me. He was so tall and fair skinned and he was covering his face. Despite him covering his face, I was sure he was looking at us probably checking if were fans, or if were going to mobbed him or just stand frozen staring at him while he walked.
We were like oh my God we’re so lucky. I feel the luckiest since it wasn’t long when I arrived at the hotel but there he was showing his handsomeness to me. Hehehe. Kate and Gab wanted us to go inside the gym since he went inside. The Korean guard stood there and I thought he locked the door. Kate wanted me to go inside instead and pretend to ask because the guards have probably marked their faces already. I went inside and started asking while my eyes were looking around for Leader. And boom there he was again touching his hair and he looked at me!
We left the gym after since we can’t stay there if we’re not on gym clothes. Gab had to leave to work and went to Robinson’s Galleria. Kate and I went to the pool hoping that Leader will swim after sweating at the gym. We’ve been there for quite some time when the dancers came out and started swimming. Even the dancers are good looking with awesome bodies too. Then while they were swimming, the staffs with Leader have been going back and forth so we thought Leader might come out already.
We even ordered fries just so we could stay there long. Fries for 350 Php, that’s crazy! And after a long wait, he finally came out from the gym. His hair was somewhat wet, probably sweat from working out. He went to talk to the dancers for a bit then the two of us just stayed frozen seated there while we stared at him. Our biggest mistake was we couldn’t move and we didn’t ask him for a photo or even an autograph. I’m sure he’ll give it to us since we’re not mobbing him and we’re very calm fans. But we couldn’t’ do anything; it was as if his presence always freezes us.
After seeing him at the pool side we left and went back to our hotel room. When we opened the television, KBS was showing Leader on tv during Love Ya comeback. Kate was shouting like crazy. We rested for a bit and headed downstairs again. We went to the lobby to look out for Leader if he’s gonna go out to eat or something. Then at around 7:00PM, the elevator door opened and there he was. We were like rattled from our place when he came out. After that, we went back to normal again. I heard that he went out to eat in a restaurant with a television on it so he can watch the World Cup because Korea has a game that day.
After some hours, we went back to the lobby and positioned ourselves again to wait for him. He came back around 9:30PM and we managed again to get a bit closer this time. Despite the guards telling us to stop recording we still did.
After all the frenzy, we went back to our room and rested a bit before we went out to buy some food for dinner. We just bought food at Mini Stop nearby. After a while, Kate and Gab already felt sleepy but I was still watching tv when I heard the doorbell. It was She, I told her the two were already sleeping.
Day 6
10.06.18, Friday
The next day was D-Day! It was the day of the Meet and Greet with Leader. Something I had to find a way to be able to be there. Before eating or anything else, we went to the lobby again our favorite place to watch out for him when he went out to be at Eat Bulaga. I don’t wanna say much about this but oh come on, if only ABS CBN was the media partner for the charity concert, he would have to guest in a much better show than Eat Bulaga. The building of Eat Bulaga looks so run down and they made our Leader go to that place. Anyway, that doesn’t matter anymore. He was wearing a khaki colored coat and tie.
After he left, we went to Coffee Beans at Galleria to have internet. We saw Leader on Eat Bulaga. He was so adorable trying his best to speak in Tagalog. He said, “ Maraming salamat po. “ It sparked the craziness in us while were at Coffee Bean’s. We shouted like mad people and they looked at us for a moment.
After spending time at Coffee Beans to use their wifi there, we went back to the hotel since the Meet and Greet is about to start at 7:00PM. This day was also Leader’s press conference. As much as we wanted to go inside we can’t because those bouncers will probably carry us out. So we just waited for Leader to pass at the 3rd flr lobby. There were some TSPH people there while we waited standing. When he pass by we said hi but we were ignored because this little girl ran to him and gave him a letter. It’s okay even though we were ignored since he smiled because of the little girl and he pinched her cheeks. I envy that kid and she was even persistent and continued to follow Leader. See if you’re a kid the bouncers are probably gentler to you.
After Leader, Beast also passed by. They seem to be nice and Yoseob was really a very small guy. But they smiled and waved so that’s a good first impression.
After a few hours, Leader passed by again and this time; we were the only people around at the 3rd flr lobby. Kathy and the others said “Hi Leader! “and he responded with a look at us, smiled and waved. But I don’t know what happened to me, I was late at saying “Hi Leader! “ So I was the last one to say that and again, he looked at me then he smiled and waved. I was so happy. That was the second or third time probably that he looked at me. First was inside the gym, then at the pool and at the lobby. Wee!!! I’m a lucky bitch.
This was really the best week ever. But this hasn’t ended yet as the Meet and Greet was nearing.
We waited for long until they let us in at the Ruby Ballroom. When he finally came in, we were quiet. He said, “ Kumusta kawo?”. I was like what did he just say, he made the words as Korean. Leader so funny as always. Then while Laura was talking he was busy doing things on his own. He was seriously looking at this CD like it’s about to get a hole on it because he was staring at it really closely. And I noticed he kept on rubbing his legs, maybe when he’s nervous he does that. It’s just so cute watching him do all those 4D manners. It’s nice to watch it yourself.
He said he was happy to see and meet Philippine Triple S. Then they brought the cakes out. Two cakes, one for his birthday and one for SS501’s 5th anniversary. He was doing some signal to us and I couldn’t get what that meant. He was actually asking us to count. LOL Leader, he was just too cute.
It lasted for about 30 minutes I think and when he finally left that’s when they excluding me started screaming. I don’t scream like that only in concerts. I wanna keep myself sane and I don’t wanna be scandalous. But sadly, I didn’t get my money worth of 2k to which is for the food. I didn’t enjoy the food although it was good because these people asked us to eat fast before he arrives.
After all that frenzy, we went to Kathy and co’s room to take photos and we even watched Channel V and they played Manmanhani and Love Like This back to back! LOL I was happy as a fool. Kate and others went to the lobby to check out if Leader went out since the managers and cody noona looked a little worried so they thought he left without saying anything.
I and Ate Yollie we’re talking endlessly and Kathy dozed off already. It was already 3:30AM I guess when I went to our room to finally get a sleep.
Day 7
10.06.19, Saturday
Today is concert day! Kate and Gab went ahead since they had to do their work. It’s me and Ate Rips who went out together. We went to Coffee Bean to check the two and we bought a gift for Hyun-joong ssshi. We settled with a gold miniature jeepney. It was expensive glad I only paid half and the other half from Ate Rips. I hope he’ll liked it.

It rained when we were on our way to Araneta. Leader brought rain. It looked like there’s a typhoon this day. Leader, look at what you have brought here in Manila. SS501 really calls the rain. I haven’t had any lunch and it’s already like 6:00PM. My God, I didn’t feel hungry but I wanted to eat.
We went to Starbucks but since I’m lacking money already I asked Cris to accompany me to withdraw. And when I got back, that was the only time I got to eat. I ate a cinnamon roll with frosting and a frappe. That’s my lunch.
It was already 7:00Pm when we went in. Everyone went ahead of us so it’s just Ate Ellen and Ate Lyn who were left with me. Me and Ate Lyn were seated together at the lower box section. The charity concert started at exactly 8:00PM. To my dismay and I’m everyone else’s dismay, the opening performance was that of this so called Pop Girls. Imagine the torture we have to bear watching them copy every movement and outfits of the K-pop girl groups. These kids are too young to act and look sexy, come on they shouldn’t be making them do those stuff.
To our relief after two torture performances from Pop Girls, finally Beast came out clad in all red. I remember that outfit; they wore the same at the Dream Concert. They sang a total of six songs, from what I remember their opening song was Mystery. Followed by Bad Girl, Shock, Oasis which is one my favorite from them and some two more I forgot the title already.
And after them, another Pinoy K-pop wannabes, they call themselves XLR8. These kids again are trying so hard to be like the K-pop boys. Please! Find your own identity people. Anyway, these two copycats’ gave us time to rest after Beast.
Then the finale of course, no other than our much loved SS501’s leader김현중. Then the crowd started going crazy. All that screaming of fan girls.
He sang one of my favorite solo songs of him from the OST of Boys Before, Happiness Is. He was clad in all white outfit and his garma hairstyle like that from Love Ya. And the back of his blazer, there’s symbol of a skull in it using silver materials I think. I love his outfit.
Then he sang next Thank You and we sang along with him. After that they brought the cake for his birthday. Wow you have so many birthday cakes Leader. And we sang 생일축하합니다 to celebrate his birthday for the second time in Manila. He turned 24 just like me since we’re born on the same year.
And of course his finale song was our favorite sexy song, Please Be Nice To Me. Of course, no Jitjoong. From the looks of his outfit, Jitjoong wasn’t possible at all. We sang along with this song too. After this song, we kept on shouting his name but he didn’t sing another song but its okay.
And then everyone came out with kids from Abiertas to sing Heal the World. Those kids where Leader placed his hands, you guys don’t how lucky you are!!! And I’m glad that the dancers came out and sang along too.
After the concert, we dashed to go back at the hotel trying to make it there before him. But sadly, we didn’t make it before him. What we saw was Beast. He was that fast. But what matters we were able to give our gift to Laura, the interpreter at least with her we know it’s going to reach him.
We went to Mini Stop to eat dinner. After we left the room, Ate Rips texted me that U-kiss was on Myx. If I could I would have teleported to the room. Anyway, I wasn’t able to sleep that night since Ate Ai and I kept on talking till it was morning already. Ate Elle, Cris and Sab were fast asleep at the lobby already.
Day 8
10.06.20, Sunday
We were at the lobby because we were waiting for Leader to come out. Because this certain guard said that he’s going to leave at 4:00AM so we waited. It was already morning and still no sight of Leader. Then we found out that he was actually leaving at 1:00PM for 4:00PM flight to Cebu.
So there, another round of waiting. Thanks to Ate Ai who bought breakfast for us at the lobby. I didn’t sleep at all and yet I didn’t feel like sleeping too because I’m afraid that Leader will come out when I sleep.
When it was already 12:00NN, people already crowded the lobby of the hotel. We were patiently waiting for him to come out. That time, I was feeling sleepy already but I had to resist it, I had to see him when he leaves.
Finally, the clock hits 1:00PM and voila, he was there coming out from the elevator. He seemed to be in a good mood as he was singing. And he smiled and waved. I was crazy that time, after he went down the stairs I ran after him to the exit of the hotel.
All the fan girling and craziness was now officially over. I can’t help but laugh with Cris since she was sleeping when Leader left. In fact, she was sleeping the night before unlike me who didn’t sleep at all.
We went to Robinson’s to eat lunch at a Korean restaurant. And we headed home after that. I was so tired and I feel so sleepy.
Every little bit of it was worth it. Although, I’m in debt because of this, that’s just money I will soon be able to pay that to my Mom. It’s another feat in my life that I’ll never forget. That made me feel like when I’m driven to do this, I will surely find a way and worked hard for it to happen.
The Persona in Hong Kong by myself was the most daring thing I’ve ever done. I survived it and it made me feel really good, that I can carry myself on my own in a foreign country. I love that vacation although I was alone besides I’m the type who likes to enjoy things on my own sometimes.
And of course, Persona in Bangkok was truly another feat to remember. It was my second time to see SS501 perform live and first time seating at the VIP section. All thanks to the very kind Em-Em.
Meeting SS501 and being a Triple S made me a bolder person indeed. Making me do things that I never thought I could. Though I had to lie sometimes and do things we could say that’s not right. But these moments are the times, I was most happy. Being able to accomplish another thing that I really like doing felt the best than any other thing.
Now, I’m embarking on accomplishing another goal, to travel again and to finally stepped foot in Korea, Japan, Macau, Singapore and Malaysia.
And maybe someday finally settle in one of these places, enjoying my single life traveling and writing.
